About

Me (b&w)My name is Colin Toews. I’m an avid amateur photographer and this blog is one of my outlets.

This isn’t just about taking pictures and showing them off – I’d like to try and tell a story too. There are pictures that stand on their own as nice or even good, but they usually have more of a story behind them for me than just the picture.

So whether you want to read my occasional stories or just look at the pictures, please do enjoy, and feel free to leave your feedback if you feel so inclined. I use Facebook Connect on this site, so if you have a Facebook account, you can easily log in and leave your comments.

Dot TK is a joint venture of the Government of Tokelau, a country in the South Pacific, the countries communication company Teletok and BV Dot TK, a privately held company. The Government of Tokelau has appointed BV Dot TK as the exclusive registration entity.

Tokelau (pronounced /ˈtoʊkəlaʊ/) is a territory of New Zealand that consists of three tropical coral atolls with a combined land area of 10 km2 and a population of approximately 1,400 in the South Pacific Ocean. The atolls lie north of the Samoas, east of Tuvalu, south of the Phoenix Islands, southwest of the more distant Line Islands (both islands groups belonging to Kiribati) and northwest of the Cook Islands. The United Nations General Assembly designated Tokelau a Non-Self-Governing Territory. Until 1976 the official name was Tokelau Islands. Tokelau is sometimes referred to by Westerners by the older, colonial name of The Union Islands.
